Christmas

Hello my lovelies, I am doing a short post today to explains to you about my christmas blogging schedule. I am getting in the super festive mood and can't wait to post as many Christmassy bits as possible! My regular blogging timetable will apply but I have some tests coming up so I'm sorry if I miss a day or two. I have gift guides, christmas wrapping, a TAG, christmas haul and much more!! Please comment below if you would like to request something festive
If you're wondering about the cute pic, it's from John Lewis's new christmas advert the bear and the hare. This made me pretty emotional and I love it! I would usually link it but it's not allowing me to because youtube hates me! Just google it
That's all for today, a new post will be up on Saturday! Jaz xxx

TOPSHOP wishlist #1

Hello my lovelies! if you don't already know I have a slight addiction to TOPSHOP and there are a few things I have been longing for recently! I thought this would be a great post to do so if you would like to see more let me know. I am not going to be buying all of these things as I don't have the budget!
Gingerbread men jumper: I get into the Christmas spirit way too early and this gingerbread jumper isn't too cheesy or Christmassy so it's perfect for the time leading up to 'Christmas time'. It's red and has an adorable gingerbread pattern which I have to admit makes me hungry. I also have my eye on the nasa sweat ever since I saw gravity!

Vintage leigh skinny jeans (online exclusive): I love my Joni's and Jamie's from topshop and I do think  that topshop make some of the most comfortable jeans ever! This style is lovely and I would like to pick them up soon! These jeans are more expensive than the other TOPSHOP jeans so it's putting me off a bit. I would definitely recommend the Joni's

Burgundy velvet skater skirt £28: I saw this skirt in a winter clothing haul from Tanya Burr and I wasn't sure about it at first. The other day I tried it on in TOPSHOP and loved it. Now I desperately want it and am thinking about purchasing it. It looks perfect for Autumn/Winter time and you can dress it up or down.

Santa Monica t shirt £18:  I have been to Santa Monica pier and I loved it so that is the main reason I want this shirt. I also love these slightly burnt looking tees and this will look great with skinnys and converse!

Bambi winter pajamas £20: I adore the film bambi and these pajamas are adorable! I really want these and they're 100% cotton which means they're nice and soft! I pretty much love every disney film and the merchandise is another love of mine.

nude teddy robe £32: Last but not least is this snuggly warm robe. It's in a pretty pink nude colour and has a super fluffy cream lining perfect for those cold winter days after a warm lush bath... (day dreaming) I have wanted a new robe for a while and this looks perfect!!

I hope you enjoyed this post and make sure to follow me on bloglovin and instagram!

stocking fillers for beauty lovers (under £10)

Hello my lovelies! Now some of you may be thinking that it's too early for Christmas posts but I have so many prepared and I'm starting to buy presents already so I thought I'd share with you some stocking fillers or smaller presents for Christmas time. Any beauty lover is bound to love any of these amazing gifts plus they each of them cost under £10 which is great is you wanna spend a little less! I have a new wintery header up and I'm not 100% sure whether I happy with it so it may go down or change but I'm not entirely sure. You may have noticed there was no posts on thursday or saturday because I am having problems again!
'
Bath and body works anti bacs: These adorable, germ killing, super smelling little bottles make the perfect stocking stuffer any girly girl. In fact there is a flavour for everyone. These are amazing little gifts and they usually only sell them in the states & Canada however I managed to find these gems on eBay! At £1.49 each they are a great solution to keeping the winter bugs away. (Left side second down) find them here!

OPI polishes: I love the OPI polishes and I found them for a great price of £3.99 on fragance direct which I think ships internationally. These polishes can be pretty pricey but at this price can make inexpensive gifts for any nail polish lover. Make sure you google the names of the polishes as the swatch shown isn't always accurate! (middle top) Find them here

Victoria secret body sprays: Again something which is usually an american thing found on eBay! These body sprays are really good and I highly recommend them. They are considerably cheaper online than they are in the shop in London so check them out. (first on the left) Find them here

Korres lip butters: These lip butters are awesome and I'm hoping to get some more soon. There are tinted balms which range from pale pinks to dark reds. I especially like the look of the one above (middle, bottom) in rose, it looks like a perfect winter colour. Plus their really moisturising and leave your lips nice and smooth Find them here

Mavala duo glitter polishes: I would definitely recommend some kind of glitter polish as they are so pretty and festive! These two are from mavala and they also work as tree decorations with cute little angel wings. Plus you can never go wrong with gold and silver find them here

Hand food: My hands get quite dry in the winter so hand cream is essential. I adore this one from soap and glory, it smells amazing and is moisturising without being greasy. It absorbs fast and you can get it in a dinky size to fit in your stocking. find them here

NUXE Reve De Miel: This is one of the most amazing lip balms ever and lots of people in the beauty community are familiar it. This lip balm is thick and moisturising and it comes in at just under £10. I think it's totally worth it even though it's more than what I usually spend on lip care. A very nice small present! find them here

Those are all of my stocking fillers and I hope you enjoyed this post. There are more to come such as gift guide for him, technology lover, novelty lover... all sorts! So follow to make sure you don't miss any and leave requests below
See ya later xxx

Simple Halloween costume and makeup ideas

Hello my lovelies. Today I'm posting a Halloween costume idea blog post. Sometimes I am left on the night before Halloween struggling to find a costume by being invited to a last minute party or trick or treating. Maybe you're just stuck for inspiration (if you are I recommend Pinterest). I hope this post will help you find the perfect costume
Simple yet effective cat:
For the the simple cat I would wear a black skater skirt, with a long sleeved top along with tights and boots. For the makeup look, youtube is overflowing with cat makeup tutorials but for something really simple I would go for the cat eye along with a small triangle on the nose.
I chose:
miss selfridge skater skirt
H&M sleeved top (available in lots of colours, I especially like the teal and burgundy)
TOPSHOP brogue boots
Amazon cat ears and tail

Next a vampire!! I think a vampire can be a pretty simple look and it's quite easy to create. For clothing I would stick with black, personally I would choose a black skater dress, black flat or heels ( depending on what your comfortable with) and some silver jewelry. For the makeup look I would go with a dark smokey eye, nude lip or you could incorporate a dark lip if you're feeling bold. Taking some fake blood you could drip it out of your mouth as if you just had a tasty snack. Plus you could add 2 small dots of blood on your neck to make it look like you've just been bitten. If you would like to have a go at some stage makeup I am very inexperienced with that stuff so definitely check out some youtube vids.
I chose:
asos velvet skater dress
TOPSHOP black ballet flats
You can find silver jewelry anywhere.

I hope these two outfits have given you some inspiration and if you would like to see another post like this before Halloween I would be happy to post one. I know it's been quick but as I've stated before I'm having problems with my blog. See you later!

general update and Q&A

Hey jaz beauties, today I'm posting a general update and Q&A. I haven't really had a little chat with you guys since I started this blog. So today I decide to post this to just tell you all a bit whats going on in my life. I can't believe it's October already, have your say September and posting regularly flopped due to issues with my blog but I believe it's sorted now but sorry if there are any problems with posting  So the second thing is that I am I planning to go to clothes show live this year so expect a huge haul. For those of you who don't know what clothes show live is, it's basically a 45 minute fashion show (a really good one) and then you can shop at all of the stalls like Barry m, models own and quite a few clothing stalls. A lot of the makeup there is discounted and there are some really good deals on lots of products. I do realise I am telling you early because the clothes show takes place in December but  this leads to me telling you that I am starting another spending ban. I am actually planning a shopping trip with cherry beauty so it will happen after that but that shopping trip will give me a chance to grab any essentials and hopefully quench my thirst for new products until December. As it is October now it will be for around 2 months which isn't long and until then I will use up the many products I have sitting in my beauty cabinet.
Anyway I am also loving instagram at the moment and I am currently at 198 followers which is great for me!!! If you read my blog you will probably like my instagram where you can ask me questions for things like this Q&A. I am jazbeautyx so make sure you check me out!
I am also questioning whether to start a twitter. I think that a twitter would really help my blog with new readers and again things like these Q&As. Let me know what you think about the idea below.
Question time!
first 2 questions are from the beautiful cherry beauty blog:
5 items on a desert island, what would you choose (anything)?
Good question. I think I would choose a close friend or family member, a motor boat (to get me off the island), communication device, a huge crate of assorted tinned foods as they wouldn't go off and a crate of water bottles. I think I bent the rules slightly but the thing that excites me about being trapped on a desert island (if  that excites anyone) island is being able to make a tree house and a fire (I'm weird).
If you could be any animal what would you be and why?
Well that's difficult I would wanna be so many. First if all a dog because who doesn't love dogs and I would have a wonderful owner yet the idea of licking people is kind of gross to me. Next a humming bird because they are beautiful and get to fly about which is so cool. Last but not least a lion, I'm a Leo so I feel I have an inner connection with them (again I'm weird).
What is your dream destination and why?
My favourite place in the world has to be California. But if you're wondering where I would like to go it would be New York because it looks just amazing. I've only been once and for a day because I was only there for 1 day due to a delayed flight but I still loved it. Also maybe somewhere hot like Thailand and the place is beautiful.
If you had to live on something for the rest of your life what would it be?
Probably french fries. I love salty french fries and chips, their just so delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'VE PUT THIS IN BOLD TO MAKE SURE YOU NOTICE IT!!!!!! hello new followers, not all my posts are like this, their mainly beauty, fashion... Thanks for following and enjoy my blog

thanks for reading

New beauty products I am excited about #1

Hello lovelies! I got the idea for this post on the amazing sunday girl blog. I adore her blog so make sure you go and check it out! There are a few new beauty products being released for autumn/fall and upcoming winter so I thought I would talk about some of the ones I'm most excited about.
The first thing which I'm really excited about is the Lush Christmas collection. Christmas is fast approaching as it is already October! I tend to get pretty excited about Christmas quite a while before it happens and once it's over I'm waiting for summer. I am especially excited about lush's Christmas collection because it looks amazing this year. They've added new things such as a snow fairy sparkle bar much like one of lush's massage bars with a super soft fondant center and lots of sparkles! definitely check out the lush christmas collection.
Also essie's autumn collection looks great. It has a great range of fall colours including a really cool duochrome colour and an amazing navy blue. I am a bit late on the essie bandwagon but I'm on there as I have 5 amazing colours from them (if you would like to see a post on them just ask). I personally think this colour selection is really nice and I can't wait to see what they have for Christmas!
Last but not least I have the riri collection from mac. This collection is available at most mac stores and online but checking the website most of the things seem to be sold out so if your interested I would get your hands on something quickly. If you did not already know this collection was designed by Rihanna. This mac collection really caught my eye purely because of the packaging at first, it's a beautiful rose gold (the colour is addicting) with her signature displayed in the front. Looking closer at the collection the eyeshadows from her cocoa palette look great so maybe an early, early Christmas present? They're quite neutral and it looks as if it would be a great palette to take on your travels.

I hope you enjoyed this post let me know if you like to see another one soon. Please comment as I love to read them!

Empties #1

Hello there jaz beauties. Today I'm posting my first empties and I know it's been a while but there is something wrong my with blog. I think I've got it sorted and I will hopefully be posting more regularly. For those on you unfamiliar with the concept of "empties" it's a post or video where people share their finished products and give their opinion of them. Hope that you enjoy this post and would like to see more empties in the future! This is a have a say september post and it was again requested by 0fficial1Dlover
Body and face care empties:
Nivea soft cream- I do really like this cream and its been a regular repurchase of mine for quite some time. It's nice and moisturising and it smells divine. This states you can use it for face, body and hands. At first I only used it for body and hands but then I started using it for my face and I actually really liked it. I'm trying out a few different creams right now so I don't think I'll repurchase this any time soon.
Aveeno daily moisturising lotion- I have a review on this lotion so I won't go into too much detail (a link will be below)). This really does the job and keeps my skin super hydrated more than the Nivea soft. You would think that this lotion is quite heavy due to it being so moisturising but it's not. If I could change it one little bit I would make it sink in a little faster.
Bath and shower empties:
Snow fairy body wash- this shower gel is a limited edition Christmas item which is unfortunate because of how amazing it smells. It smells like bubblegum, sweets and pure amazingness. The shower gel itself is not that moisturising but the smell makes up for it completely. It has tiny iridescent glitters which tend to rest at the bottom of the container. My only other fault with this is that the smell doesn't linger for that long which is terrible because I absolutely adore the scent.
Volcano foot mask- I didn't like this mask at all. You apply a thick layer of this to your feet and then you wrap your feet In cling film and wait for 20 mins and its supposed to get rid of rough skin. This did nothing and it was super messy, when the mask hardened it turned into clay which crumbled everywhere. Overall a product which I won't repurchase!
Hair care empties:
Hello hydration shampoo and conditioner - I thought that this shampoo and conditioner were really good. They added lots of moisture and shine to my hair and made it feel nice and soft. I will repurchase these two hair care products but at the moment I'm using sulphate free hair products so I'll let you know how that turns out.
Pure coconut leave in conditioner-
I did not like this one bit. To start with the packaging. Instead if being a mist spray there is one hole in the bottle letting out loads of product in one small section making it almost impossible to cover all of your hair. If it was an amazing product I would be able to put up with the packaging but it wasn't. It doesn't do anything at all and was pointless.

Makeup empties:
colossal volume express mascara maybelline: I really did like this mascara. I have quite long eyelashes so I wanted something that would give me volume. This did that as well as giving me length although I felt the formula to be a bit dry but that's probably because I kept it open too long!
Barry m lipgloss in coral: I loved this lipgloss!!!! Barry m lipglosses in General have a great consistency and smell. This lipgloss definitely did. The smell was very tropical and the colour was an amazing a pinky coral as the name "coral" suggests. I love this because it isn't too sticky and it sits nicely with not the longest staying power but enough.

Thanks for reading! check out my instagram, comment and follow. I was planning on creating a twitter account what do you think?

would you rather? beauty edition HAVE A SAY SEPTEMBER

Hello there blog readers,
today is the first day of have a say september the first request being the would you rather tag requested by 0fficial1dlover on instagram. I hope you enjoy it and before I start I tag the wonderful cherry beauty blog ,the amazing isabella darcy and of course all of you reading.

I apologize for me not blogging for a week. My account was going through some problems and I've been really busy. Hopefully I'm back on track to my once every 2-3 days schedule!!

Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows and palettes?
I think I would rather lose all of my palettes and eyeshadows. I could always use different coloured eyeliner as eyeshadow and I don't think I would be able to give up my very precious lip products

Would you rather chop off all of your hair or never be able to cut it again?
I suppose it would be cool to have 1 mile long Rapunzel styled hair but I can't imagine how dry and damaged it would get not to mention how much stuff you would get in it or how to get it in a shower cap. So I think I would have to chop it all off, it will grow in time.

Would you rather have a coral or pink cheek?
I think it would have to be a pink cheek as it suits me more.

If you had £1000. Would you rather spend it all on makeup or clothes?
It would probably be clothes. I love makeup but I like my smaller collection and I think £1000 would be a bit to greedy for me! But I'm the opposite with clothes, I get as much as I can.

Would you rather use eyeliner as lipstick or lipstick as eyeliner?
I would rather use eyeliner as lipstick. I would get a pink eyeliner then it would be just like a lip pencil. I can imagine lipstick being very sticky on the eyelids and the thought of putting it on my waterline ugghhh.

Would you rather only shop at mac or sephora?
We don't have sephora here yet I would pick sephora as it provides a range of different brands and products. Mac ,lovely as it is, only has the one brand (mac obviously) so I would much prefer lots of lovely choice.

Would you rather only use one eye shadow colour for the rest of your life or or one lip colour?
I would rather use one eyeshadow colour. I tend to stay neutral with the eyeshadow however I like to change my lip colour up quite a lot.

would you rather wear winter clothes in the summer or summer clothes in the winter?
I don't think I can answer this question. I adore my summer dresses, shorts and t-shirts but I also love my jumpers, skinnys and boots. I honestly can't decide!!!

would you rather wear dark nails or bright nails all year round?
Bright nails!! I love bright nails way more than dark. Not that I don't like dark I just really like bright nails. I'm pretty sure bright nails would include pastels which I love as well so bright would have to be my choice.

would you rather give up your favourite lip product or your favourite eye product?
My favourite eye product!! I would definitely rather keep my fave lip product.

would you rather keep your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
I would wear a ponytail. I rarely wear buns and I never wear messy buns and sleeping in a bun is too uncomfortable

would you rather never be able to use nail polish again or wear lipgloss?

I would rather use nail polish as I could wear a glossy lipstick. I don't think I would be able to never wear nail polish, I love it too much.

would you rather shave of your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?

I would rather sharpie them in. I can't imagine what I would look like with no eyebrows and sharpies come in all sorts of colours.

would you rather live without makeup or nailpolish?
This is the hardest question of all of them. Probably makeup but thinking that I could never have my
brightly coloured nails again well it saddens me :(.

I hope you enjoy this comment, follow and stay tuned for my next have a say September post

TIP TUESDAY a simple treat for your hair AND your nails

Hey there beauty blog lovers. Today is my first tip Tuesday, I got this idea from glamlifeguru on YouTube and I thought it would be great for my blog. For this tip Tuesday I will be sharing with you a very simple recipe which you can use for quite a few purposes. So here we go:

You're going to need:
Bowl
Teaspoon
Coconut oil
Extra virgin olive oil

Making this is super simple. Take your bowl and add in a teaspoon of coconut oil then two teaspoons of olive oil. Heat this in the microwave for 5 seconds stir the mixture then repeat until its melted.
It should look something like this
I love using this on my nails to soften my cuticles and really moisturise them. I dip a tissue into this and rub on each nail, I tend to leave it on for around 20 mins then I rinse off and it leaves them feeling nice and soft.
For whatever I've got leftover, it will end up in my hair. Olive oil has great moisturising properties and coconut oil helps with dandruff and maintaining healthy shiny hair. I rub this mainly through the ends and lower ends of my hair. I then put my hair up in a bun. After waiting for about 20 minutes I rinse off with shampoo and conditioner. My hair is quite long so it tends to get try and the ends and this really helps with keeping my hair silky soft

I hope you all enjoyed this tip Tuesday and leave requests down below for what types of tips you would like to see in the future. Don't forget that my first have a say September post will be up on Thursday. Follow, comment and there is one place left for have a say September so leave requests down below.

maybelline baby lips review

Hello beauty lovers, finally the baby lips have landed in the UK and there was a mad rush of lip balm lovers desperate to get their hands on them. I've luckily found 4, 2 clear and 2 tinted. I wanted to do this post to share my opinion of these fruity balms and tell you whether I think  they live up to their high expectations.
(from top to bottom) intense care, cherry me, hydrate, pink punch.

(from left to right) hydrate (intense care looks the same in a swatch), cherry me and pink punch.
Pink punch is a light barbie pink. It has a very fruity tropical smell which I love and is my favourite smell out of all the ones I have tried so far from the collection. It's more pigmented than I thought it would be and shows up nicely on the lips.

Cherry me is a dark cherry red. It doesn't come out as dark as it looks on the lips which I like for a day when you want to wear a red which is not too full on. It smells like cherry drops which is really nice although I can't really smell this when it's on the lips so no problem if you don't like cherry smells.

Hydrate is a clear balm with SPF 20 great for those warm days to protect your lips. This is a really nice moisturising balm which leaves the lips looking shiny. I like to use this to help blend out my darker lipsticks and it also works as a nice balm to go over a drying lip stain to keep your lips moisturised. I have no idea what this smell is but it doesn't smell nice to me.

Intense care is also a clear balm with SPF 20. It is more moisturising than the hydrate one although I wouldn't call it intense. I do really like this balm as its good at hydrating the lips but it doesn't feel heavy or sticky. I can't quite put my finger on what this smells like its not really a recognizable scent but I believe it's supposed to be lemon as it has yellow packaging.

I love how these feel on the lips their super smooth and they glide on perfectly. As for how long they last, not that long. It's something you need to keep in your bag to keep reapplying. The colours are really flattering on my lips and I don't know why but I feel like the pink is more pigmented and not as  glossy. I really want to try the peach nude colour as I really want to know what colour it would come out on my lips so when I get this shade comment down below if you would like to see a review.

I think that for how much they were hyped up before they arrived here they didn't fully live up to their expectations. I do love these balms but I would really of liked them to last longer. They said eight hour hydration which I think was a slight exaggeration but maybe they are still on the lips but I can't feel them? Don't get me wrong I really like these and they were exactly the texture I thought they would be. At £2.99 I think you get what you pay for if not more.

Overall I did really like these lip balms although they did not live up to what people hyped them up to be. I think that I would repurchase some more flavours but maybe that's just because I want to have all 6. I hope you enjoyed this post on my opinion of the baby lips. Please do comment down below and follow me if you like me. I'm sorry if my posting is quite sparse and not on a schedule at the moment I've been having problems with my laptop and I don't like blogging from my phone or tablet so it should be back on track from Monday.

Haul! lush, cath kidston, jack wills...

Hello beauty lovers, today I'm posting a haul. Recently my birthday has passed and I've also been to Oxford Street and Covent Garden so I thought I would show you some of my gifts and purchases. I have split the products into two so I can almost do a first impressions of the things I bought. DISCLAIMER: I'm not making this post to brag about what I have received and bought. I really like reading and watching hauls so that is why I'm posting this. I hope you enjoy this post and links will be below. I would also like to say sorry for not posting a monthly favourites and that I have been posting quite sparsely. I'm back on track now and you will see lots of posts coming soon.

The first thing, which is a gift, is from jack wills. I received this lovely wash bag with the navy and pink stripes on it which I think will be very useful for holidays. I also received a jack wills lip gloss, eye shadow and nail paint. I was actually  quite surprised buy how much I liked the lip gloss. The colour really suits my lips as it's a dark berry colour. I have yet to try the nail polish and eye shadow but maybe the quality will be as good as the lip gloss.

The next two things are from lush. One of the things I purchased myself was the twilight bath bomb. This is a regular repurchase for me because I love the smell. It's super relaxing and is a great bath bomb to use before bed. I love it so much and I highly recommend it to any lush fan. The other thing is a present. This is the shiny happy people gift set. It comes with happy hippy shower gel, bohemian soap and the aqua mirablis body buffer. I love the aqua mirablis but I haven't tried any of the other products. The other two products smell very fresh and quite lemony so I think they will be nice to wake me up in the mornings.  If you would like to see a blogpost on my lush faves please comment down below.

The next thing is a mirror. It's a floral mirror from cath kidston. I seem to have accumulated lots of handbag mirrors but I guess that's a good thing. The other thing is a set of 4 rings from river island. They are thin wire rings not midis and they spell out love. I thought these were so cute and I just had to buy them.

I hope you enjoyed this haul. The next part will be up soon. Please check out my instagram and polyvore plus don't forget to follow, comment and read on.

Favourite beauty bloggers

Hello readers my blog, today I'm writing a post on my fave beauty bloggers. I thought this may be a helpful post to some people out there who are starting to read blogs. When I started reading blogs I didn't know how to find good new blogs to start reading so I hope this helps. You could just be reading this to find out some of my favourite bloggers, for whatever reason you're reading I hope you enjoy!!

My first fave blogger is miss budget beauty. I starting reading her blog after having loved her youtube channel for a long time. I find her blog posts very helpful as she posts things such as best and worsts, reviews, favourites and much more. I really enjoy reading her because her blog posts are usually so nice and she has a really friendly personality. I found that her posts are really easy to read and she has helped me learn so much about beauty. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who has just started out with beauty or just anyone who wants to find something to read. She posts very regular basis so you'll always have something to read.

My next favourite blogger is zoella. When I first made my blog she was the most helpful blogger I was reading. The posts of hers that I found most helpful were her blog posts on blogging. She shows you how to photograph for your blog and how to blog. I've picked so many useful tips and tricks from reading her posts and I feel like she has made my blog so much better. I'm very grateful for her blog and I highly recommend for you to read it. She also has some lovely pictures to share on her blog and I enjoy reading both her beauty and non beauty related posts

Next I have the cherry beauty blog. I know the lovely cherry beauty as a personal friend and I can assure you that is not the reason for her featuring in this post. I just really enjoy reading her posts because I find her posts to be really interesting and I love seeing what she has bought and what she is wearing. The cherry beauty blog is so easy to read and I think you can pick up a few things from her. The posts I most like from her are her reviews/collections. She shows you her collections and gives reviews of each product in the collection, posts such as her maybelline mascara collection and soap and glory collection.

Last but by no means least is sprinkleofglitter. I really do like her blog because I find that it's not as beauty and reviews it's more lifestyle. I really do like lifestyle blogs but I think the good ones are hard to find. I love her youtube channel so I figured I like her blog and I do. I like hearing about Darcy and Zoe (you would know if you read her blog) , her little inspirational posts and just her in general. Overall a lovely person to read.

Other bloggers I would like to mention:
Tanya burr
Fleurdeforce

USA wishlist

Hi, today I've decided to post my USA wishlist. America offers a great range of products which unfortunately aren't easily available to me and many others. I decided to tell you guys some of the things I would love to buy from America and hopefully will buy on my next trip there.

The first product I really want are the maybelline baby lips. These are going to be released to the UK soon so don't worry you lip balm enthusiasts out there. I love lip balms, I suppose it's an obsession, when I first heard about these balms I was so excited for then to come over to the UK. I've heard so many good things about these lip balms as they are clinically proven to soften lips in a week. They come in many colours and flavours plus they're tinted. I really want to try these as they are a tinted lip balm which is as moisturising as a regular lip balm.

Next I have something which I've had before and loved it. It was one of the slatkin and co candles from bath and body works. Why oh why won't they bring this brand over to the UK. I tried there roasted marshmallows or something like that in autumn, it was amazing. They're highly fraganced but don't make you feel sick and they look really pretty. I would really like to try the leaves candle and the market peach one as they are highly raved about.

This is something else from bath and body works which I've never tried. It's their anti bacs. We don't have anything like this in the UK just regular boring dettol and other dull brands. They keep your hands clean and smell good not mentioning how cute they look. It's really important to keep your hands clean when out and about and these are the great smelling answer.

This product is something I am desperate to try. They are the Tarte amazonian clay blushes which you can purchase from sephora. These became really popular in the youtube and blogging world for a while so I wanted to see what the fuss was all about. When I found out you couldn't get them in the UK I was gutted. They are said to last for ages on the cheeks and apply super easily. They have a great colour range, there is a shade for everyone and the packaging is so pretty (see picture above).

Last of all is the covergirl lashblast mascara. I know that there is a max factor equivalent of this as they are the same brand but it's something like £11 and in the U.S.A it's only like $8. I think it's the brush that attracted me to want this as I love lots of plastic bristles on mascara wands as I find them thickening. I've heard many good reviews on this so I hope it will live up to it's expectations. I will review this once I purchase it.

I hope you enjoyed this post telling you some of the things I would like from America. Let me know if you would like a part 2 or reviews on these things when I have them. Bye for now

I heart summer TAG

Hello readers of my blog. Another tag so I hope you don't mind. Today I thought I would do the I <3 summer tag. I saw miss glamorazzi and her pal's tag video and I loved the questions so I thought I would do it for you.

1. what is your favourite bronzer for summer?
I don't really tend to use much bronzer as my skin is already a bronze, tanned colour. I would probably say my favourite blush/bronzer which is from topshop and it's in break of day. My sister didn't like this so she gave it to me and I love it. It has half pink and half bronzer. The blush is a bright, shimmery pink which gives a nice pop of colour to the cheeks. I don't know how else to describe other than being a really pretty barbieish pink. My describing skills aren't amazing so I'll link this down below and remember topshop ship internationally.

2. You're relaxing in a hammock, on a tropical island. What are you sipping on? (favourite summer drink)
Well I have 4. I suppose it's cheating but I love cold drinks. Strawberry lemonade, cloudy lemonade, peach or lemon ice tea and Starbucks mango and passion fruit frappucino. As you can probably tell I love fruit. All of these drinks are pretty refreshing and I recommend you try one of these drinks.

3. what is your fave summer lip product?
I do love my lip products. However in the summer I'm all about the lip care rather than colour. My fave product would have to be the korres lip butter in pomegranate. This is a very pretty hot pink with a hint of red. I really like this as it's so moisturising unlike some of the other tinted lip balms I have tried and has a pretty colour which isn't too bold.

4. pool or beach?
definitely beach. I love the beach sooo much and I have to admit I still love making sand castles (it's one of the best parts of the beach).

5. summer = crazy hair! What's your must have styling product?
my must have styling product is the Toni and Guy salt spray. You can use this to make beachy waves and give some texture to your hair. This is great if your at the beach in the water then your going out with your friends, you can spray this in whilst your hair is wet to create a hairstyle which looked like it took ages but really took no time at all. This is a great dupe for the bumble and bumble surf spray.

6. sunbathing or fake tan?
I think probably a shimmer lotion above anything else. My complexion is already tanned so all I need is a little glow in the summer.

7. favourite summer nail polish?
My fave nail polish for the summer is the gelly hi shine polish in papaya. This is a really pretty coral and if you would like to hear more about it I have a review on them which I'll link down below.

8. Any summer traditions?
Not really, sometimes when we go on holiday we're told to leave our electrical devices behind so we can focus on family time, not phone time.

9. Favourite summer scent?
Ummmm that's a difficult one. I would have to go with Miss Dior Cherie, I love this scent all year round. But for something super summery and very budget is the strawberry scent from the natural collection body sprays from boots, at £2 each they're pretty good and even thought they don't last that long on the body you can top up throughout the day.

10. Favourite BBQ food?
My favourite BBQ food would have to be sausages. I love sausages in a bun with french fries yummmm!!!!

11. What's your favourite summer proof product?
My favourite summer proof product is the L'Oreal telescopic waterproof mascara. This will not budge when in the pool or the sea (most liquids). It also adds lots of length despite my already long lashes and being drugstore it's a bargain.

12. Any summer vacation plans this year? No plans? Tell us about your dream summer trip!
I am going to Paris and Switzerland, so excited!!!!! Comment down below and tell me where you're going

June favourites

(sorry some of the pictures aren't facing upwards my computer has problems!!!!!!)

Can you believe it's now July, this year is going incredibly quickly. Anyway it's time for a June favourites, so here we go.
BEAUTY FAVOURITES:
My first favourite has to be the collection cream puff in cotton candy. My friend and I bought these from boots at the same time and we weren't expecting anything amazing, but they are amazing. I have quite dark lips so the colour cotton candy is a your lips but better for me and I can't get enough of it. I think these are a good dupe of the NYX soft matte lip creams as they have similar textures but I find the cream puff to be slightly drying even though it states to be a moisturizing cream. Overall I love this product and would buy more but the colour selection isn't amazing unfortunately.
Next I have Peaches and clean by soap and glory. I love the brand soap and glory and when everyone started raving about there cleanser I had to try it. Can we please start by saying that this smells amazing like nectarines, peaches and a maybe a hint of mint. I have been using this just to cleanse my face and as a face mask, I haven't really been using this to take makeup off too much but it can remove waterproof mascara so it's good enough for me. I use this to cleanse my T zone and It doesn't dry my skin out it just keeps my skin matte for the day instead of wearing powder as I don't like to wear too much makeup. It is nice as a face mask as it's good at removing spots.
Now I have the Garnier body intensive 7 days moisturising gel in grape. Everyone seemed to rave about these for a while so I tried the cocoa one and didn't really find it to be anything special. My mum bought this home and I borrowed (stole) it from her. They say these are supposed to absorb quickly I didn't really find that with the cocoa one but this one absorbed within seconds. I thought because it was a gel it would absorb quickly but I didn't expect it to absorb as fast as it did. I can put this on and then get straight into bed or get dressed, and it's moisturising I LOVE IT.
My next product is the MUA shimmer highlighter. This was gifted to me by the lovely girl who writes the cherry beauty blog a link will be down below. I was excited for this as it's a dupe for the MAC MSFs and I had heard a few people talk about it. This product has entered my favourites because I simply love using this, just not on my face. I use this on my legs and arms to brighten them up when it's warm. It looks amazing when your wearing shorts, skirts or dresses as it makes your legs look really pretty and not like they've been stuck in pajama bottoms all winter. I still use this on the face just not as much because it doesn't blend that well and is a bit too glittery for the face in my opinion.
My last beauty favourite has to be the original source pink grapefruit shower gel. My friends and I went  crazy when we found this in Wilkinson's for 99p and it was the limited edition summer fragrance. This is quite   a reviving shower gel perfect for mornings to wake you up. It doesn't dry my skin out and is all natural so it's a pretty good deal I think. You should give this a try as it's an absolute bargain and for something even more reviving try the mint flavour.
My fashion favourite has to be my topshop JONI high waisted skinnys. I bought these 3 weeks ago after listening to friends and family going on about how good topshop jeans are. They cost £36 which I think is totally worth it. These jeans hold all day and you only have to pull them up once or twice a day (I counted), best of all they don't loose there hold after a few washes. The pair I have are very high waisted so their good to wear with crop tops. A great staple for your wardrobe.

Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paints

Today I'm reviewing the Barry m gelly hi shine nail paints. These blew up in the blogging community so I had to review them for you. The colours (from left to right) are prickly pear, greenberry, papaya and dragon fruit. To start with is the packaging, they are the regular Barry M bottles but with shiny metal looking lids. I love the Barry M packaging anyway but I think with the shiny lids these would look especially nice on display.
Starting off with prickly pear this is a beautiful lavender and I liked this more than I thought I would. It may be a pastel but is still very eye catching on the nails which I like. I've had many compliments on this colour so I give this a thumbs up.
My next colour is Green berry which I didn't like as much as I thought. It still is nice but I feel like I was needing the colour to be brighter and pop a little more. But putting that aside, this is a light turquoise colour that may look nicer when you have a tan.
Next I have papaya, which is similar to the colour of the inside of a papaya. It's a light orangey coral which is quite peachy, again this looks so pretty with a tan. I was thoroughly impressed with colour and I think I'll be wearing this a lot in summer.
My last colour is dragon fruit but the colour doesn't resemble a dragon fruit at all. A dragon fruit is a dark hot pink and this is a cute barbie pink with a slight shimmer running through. You can't see the shimmer too much so if your not a glitter lover don't worry. I love this colour, it's perfect for summer and a great colour that I think everyone should have in their collection.
These polishes are quite thick and in my opinion only need 2 coats to look amazing (even the pastels). The polishes last for 2-3 days without chipping not including a top coat. I would recommend a base coat as I can imagine that greenberry and papaya would stain plus some of the darker colour in the collection as well. Now for the shine factor which is what your probably waiting for. These polishes definitely live up to their expectations, They're very gel like which is good because I was afraid they were just going to be thin and shiny. They look very professional and people often ask me if I'm wearing gel nails when I have these paints on. I would definitely purchase some more of these bad boys, I would like to try the darker colours in autumn and winter. They are available in boots and superdrug at £3.99 a pop which is a bargain if you ask me.
Please leave any requests down below it would make my day if you followed me or even left a comment. Thanks for reading

DIY Lip Scrub 5 Steps

Today I'm going to be showing you how to make an easy DIY  lip scrub in 5 simple steps. I love my lip scrub from lush but at £5 for a little jar I'm showing you how to make your own for a lot cheaper and you should have all of these items in your kitchen. This scrub is not only good at removing dead skin from your lips it keeps then moisturized with a slight residue.

             You will need:
sugar (regular castor sugar is more abrasive than brown sugar)
              extra virgin olive oil
              honey
              jojoba oil (optional)
              a small container
              teaspoon
              bowl
Step 1.Put 3 teaspoons of sugar into your bowl
Step 2.Next add 1 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil and mix
Step 3.Take a teaspoon of honey, add it to your bowl and mix
Step 4.OPTIONAL add 2 drops of jojoba oil then mix
Step 5.Put the lip scrub into your clean jar and your done
I hope you all enjoyed this DIY. Comment down below any other DIYs you want to see and tell me if you like these 5 step posts. Byeee!!

my perfect lip combo

Today I'm talking about my perfect lip combo. Neither of these products are too expensive so you don't have to break the bank to get silky smooth lips.
My first product is the bubblegum lip scrub from lush. This is a sugary pink scrub which smells like sweet bubblegum and tastes like it too. You gently buff the scrub into your lips to get rid of dead skin then you can either lick off the excess or wipe it away. I use this before I wash my face as it seems to leave some sugar around my face leaving it sticky. This great to use before you apply lipstick as it creates a smooth base. I don't use when my lips are already smooth as it can then be a bit too abrasive and hurt my lips, so I don't use this on a day to day basis.
Next I have my Blistex daily lip conditioner. At first I didn't like this lip balm as it was too hard, waxy and I couldn't get much product off. But after a few uses it breaks the hard barrier and turns into a lovely consistency. It's really moisturizing and keeps my lips soft and supple. It does what it says on the tin it's a daily lip conditioner it's not some kind of intensive moisturizer, so it is perfect for everyday use. This lip balm also lasts for quite long time despite being in a small pot.
I definitely recommend these two products as they are the perfect lip combo for everyday use. Let me know if you would like to see a DIY lip scrub post or any others posts you would like to see, comment them down below.

Aveeno daily moisturising lotion review

Today I'm going to be reviewing the Aveeno daily moisturising lotion. I got this for an amazing deal at Costco where it was a triple pack for £5.49 and at boots there £5.49 each so I had to take advantage of the deal. I have been trialing the product for more than a month and I've nearly finished my first tube.

Starting with the texture, I would say this is more of a cream than a lotion as it's quite thick. Even though it is thick it absorbs quickly into your skin, great if you want to get straight into bed or get dressed. It says that it's fragrance free but I think it smells a little bit like oats however it's not strong and doesn't linger on your skin. Now that I have all of the small details out of the way I can finally say that I am in love with this product. I thought it would be a bit of a gamble to buy 3 of a product I'd never tried before but I'm so glad I did. This has become my favourite lotion because it makes my skin feel so smooth and makes me feel moisturized for 24hrs as it states on the packaging. I would pay full price for this but I felt like I ran out of this too quickly probably because my family were stealing it.

I hope you enjoyed this product review if you have any other requests for reviews or if you would like me to check out your blog leave a comment below
