DIY Lip Scrub 5 Steps

Today I'm going to be showing you how to make an easy DIY  lip scrub in 5 simple steps. I love my lip scrub from lush but at £5 for a little jar I'm showing you how to make your own for a lot cheaper and you should have all of these items in your kitchen. This scrub is not only good at removing dead skin from your lips it keeps then moisturized with a slight residue.

             You will need:
sugar (regular castor sugar is more abrasive than brown sugar)
              extra virgin olive oil
              honey
              jojoba oil (optional)
              a small container
              teaspoon
              bowl
Step 1.Put 3 teaspoons of sugar into your bowl
Step 2.Next add 1 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil and mix

my perfect lip combo

Today I'm talking about my perfect lip combo. Neither of these products are too expensive so you don't have to break the bank to get silky smooth lips.
My first product is the bubblegum lip scrub from lush. This is a sugary pink scrub which smells like sweet bubblegum and tastes like it too. You gently buff the scrub into your lips to get rid of dead skin then you can either lick off the excess or wipe it away. I use this before I wash my face as it seems to leave some sugar around my face leaving it sticky. This great to use before you apply lipstick as it creates a smooth base. I don't use when my lips are already smooth as it can then be a bit too abrasive and hurt my lips, so I don't use this on a day to day basis.
Next I have my Blistex daily lip conditioner. At first I didn't like this lip balm as it was too hard, waxy and I couldn't get much product off. But after a few uses it breaks the hard barrier and turns into a lovely consistency. It's really moisturizing and keeps my lips soft and supple. It does what it says on the tin it's a daily lip conditioner it's not some kind of intensive moisturizer, so it is perfect for everyday use. This lip balm also lasts for quite long time despite being in a small pot.
I definitely recommend these two products as they are the perfect lip combo for everyday use. Let me know if you would like to see a DIY lip scrub post or any others posts you would like to see, comment them down below.

Aveeno daily moisturising lotion review

Today I'm going to be reviewing the Aveeno daily moisturising lotion. I got this for an amazing deal at Costco where it was a triple pack for £5.49 and at boots there £5.49 each so I had to take advantage of the deal. I have been trialing the product for more than a month and I've nearly finished my first tube.

Starting with the texture, I would say this is more of a cream than a lotion as it's quite thick. Even though it is thick it absorbs quickly into your skin, great if you want to get straight into bed or get dressed. It says that it's fragrance free but I think it smells a little bit like oats however it's not strong and doesn't linger on your skin. Now that I have all of the small details out of the way I can finally say that I am in love with this product. I thought it would be a bit of a gamble to buy 3 of a product I'd never tried before but I'm so glad I did. This has become my favourite lotion because it makes my skin feel so smooth and makes me feel moisturized for 24hrs as it states on the packaging. I would pay full price for this but I felt like I ran out of this too quickly probably because my family were stealing it.
